Packaging is part of the manufacturing system. The bottle, pump, jar, tube or sachet has to be compatible with the formula, available on time and suitable for the filling and closing process. We coordinate those requirements before the production date arrives.

The right package is not only the one that looks good
Packaging can change the product experience, compatibility, filling speed, closure integrity, transport risk, MOQ and launch timing. That is why we review it alongside the formula and production process rather than waiting until the final order.
You can nominate your own packaging supplier or ask us to source suitable components. In either case, samples, technical drawings and delivery timing should be confirmed before commercial production is scheduled.

Samples, drawings and dimensions are reviewed against filling, closure, coding, labelling and handling requirements.

Formula and packaging interaction is considered and compatibility testing is included where required for the project.

Supplier MOQ, lead time, decoration and transport are aligned with the planned manufacturing date.

The product is filled, closed and assembled according to the approved component and production setup.

Client-supplied packaging
You can use an existing supplier, but the component still needs technical review. We recommend sending samples and drawings early enough to identify dimensional, closure or filling issues before the commercial quantity is ordered.
Packaging sourced through Tsilkov
When we source the packaging, we can help shortlist realistic options based on format, quantity, target price and timing. Final component availability and supplier minimums are outside the control of the filling line, so they are confirmed as part of the project schedule.

Can we use our own packaging supplier?
Yes. We can work with your existing supplier. We ask for samples and technical information early enough to review dimensions, compatibility, filling requirements and timing.
Can Tsilkov source the packaging for us?
Yes. We can help source bottles, jars, tubes, pumps, droppers, sprays, sachets and other compatible components according to the project requirements.
Do you manufacture the bottles and jars yourselves?
No. Tsilkov is a cosmetic manufacturer and filler. Packaging components are supplied by specialised packaging manufacturers and can be sourced by us or by the client.
Can you fill airless packaging?
Yes. Our listed capabilities include airless formats from approximately 10 - 250 ml, subject to the specific component, formula and line setup.
Do you perform packaging compatibility testing?
We support compatibility evaluation and testing as part of the product-development and production route where required.
Does packaging affect the MOQ?
Yes. Even when our manufacturing MOQ is 3,000 units, the packaging supplier may have a different minimum, decoration MOQ or lead time. The final project quantity is confirmed after all components are reviewed.
