A quality system is the way the factory works when nobody is visiting
ISO 22716 provides Good Manufacturing Practice guidelines for the production, control, storage and shipment of cosmetic products. ISO 9001 provides a broader quality-management framework around controlled processes, responsibilities, records, improvement and customer requirements.
ISO itself does not certify companies. Our systems are independently certified by LRQA, and the certificates displayed on this website identify the standards and scope covered by the audit.

What ISO 22716 covers
ISO 22716:2007 gives guidelines for cosmetic Good Manufacturing Practices and focuses on quality aspects of production, control, storage and shipment. It is not a substitute for product safety assessment or market-specific cosmetic regulation.

What ISO 9001 adds
ISO 9001:2015 is a wider Quality Management System standard. It supports consistent processes, defined responsibilities, risk-based thinking, customer requirements, corrective action and continual improvement across the organisation.
Testing and product safety remain product-specific
A certified factory does not remove the need for product-specific stability, compatibility, preservation, safety-assessment or claim-support work. Those activities are planned according to the formula, packaging, market and intended claims.

Is Tsilkov Cosmetics ISO 9001 certified?
Yes. Our Quality Management System is certified to ISO 9001:2015 by LRQA.
Does ISO certify Tsilkov directly?
No. ISO develops the standards. Certification is performed by an independent certification body. Tsilkov is certified by LRQA.
Does ISO 22716 mean a cosmetic product is automatically safe?
No. ISO 22716 addresses Good Manufacturing Practices. Each product still requires the appropriate safety assessment, testing and regulatory documentation for its market.
Can clients audit or visit the factory?
Yes. We regularly host prospective and existing partners and can discuss quality documentation and manufacturing controls within the appropriate confidentiality framework.
Do you keep batch traceability records?
Our quality system includes manufacturing and material records used for traceability, repeat production, investigation and quality follow-up.
